Ingredient: Organic Gyokuro Green Tea from Uji, Japan
Truly authentic Gyokuro grown organically, is hard to find. Gyokuro (g-yo-koo-lo) means “Jade-Dew” in Japanese–enjoy “serene elegance” that this rare tea brings to you: slightly nutty, then round and smooth with sweet after flavor. Gyokuro is shade grown, like Matcha, which gives you a tea higher in caffeine, L-Theanine and umami. This tea also enhances mood and benefits brain health.
Preparation: For warm tea, steep 1 tsp. tea leaf in 8 oz warm water (155° F) for 5 minutes. For cold tea use room temperature water and steep in refrigerator for 3 to 6 hours.
