Hojicha-Matcha Chia Pudding Bar

 

Prepare the pudding a few days ahead, and serve them with several topping options. It’s a fun way to offer a healthy breakfast or snack for your family. Scroll down to see the Hojicha pudding recipe. 

Matcha Chia Pudding

Ingredients: 

4 Tbsp. Chia Seeds

1 Tbsp. Matcha Powder   (We prefer this particular kind for Chia pudding–it’s got a great balance of flavors.)

1 Tbsp. Lucuma Powder

a pinch Sea Salt

1 1/4 C Milk of your choice, Unsweetened (We used Almond milk.)

1 Tbsp. Maple Syrup

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Topping Ideas:

Goji Berries

Pumpkin Seeds, Raw and Shelled

Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder   (Use Ceremonial Grade for topping.)

Lightly Toasted Coconut Flakes

Instructions:

 1. Mix Chia Seeds Matcha, Lucuma powder, and salt in a 32 oz mason jar. Close the lid, shake well.

 2. Add Milk, Maple syrup, and Vanilla extract. Close the lid, and shake well for 15 seconds. Leave it for a few minutes, and shake again. Repeat for the next 15 minutes or so, until Chia seeds start to expand and the liquid starts to solidify.

 3. Keep it overnight in the fridge, while pudding continues to get firmer.

Chopped Candied Ginger

Chopped Cashew Nuts
